"Photography is the story I fail to put into words."

I love capturing the images of children (which is why I do a lot of kindergarten photos) but sometimes, it can be quite challenging.
Take The Delightful Mr D for example. You see, like any 3-year old, Mr D is full of energy. He was excited about being in a new place and he was eager to explore.
I think he got tired of waiting for the adults who were standing and smiling, or walking ever so slowly. He wanted to stretch his legs, and play and was not too keen on having his photos taken. When it was his turn to be photographed, he would look away from the camera, and no amount of coaxing could make him smile.
One thing I've learned through the years is to just let it be. We (myself and Mr D's family) gave little Mr D his space but stayed close enough that I could ask his parents to join him in the frame so I can take photographs of him (and his parents) surreptitiously.
He eventually relaxed and smiled and waved at the camera - and it well worth the wait!
Here are some of his beautiful images. I just love the absolute joy on his face when he's on the swing.
